Istanbul meeting

The MATISSE consortium gathered in Istanbul for the project’s fourth plenary meeting, bringing together partners from across Europe for several days of technical discussions, hackathon activities, strategic coordination, and collaboration around trustworthy AI-enabled engineering solutions.

Istanbul meeting

The fourth plenary meeting of the MATISSE project took place in Istanbul, hosting partners from academia, industry, and research organizations involved in the project. The meeting represented an important milestone for aligning ongoing technical developments, validating progress across work packages, and preparing the next phases of the project.

Throughout the plenary, partners presented the latest advancements of the MATISSE platform and demonstrated progress across the project’s diverse industrial use cases. One of the distinctive aspects of MATISSE is the breadth of its validation scenarios, spanning domains such as robotics in space, industrial systems, and renewable energy communities. This diversity allows the consortium to continuously evaluate the project technologies in realistic and challenging operational environments.

A central part of the meeting was again dedicated to the MATISSE hackathon, where teams collaborated hands-on on technical challenges and integration activities before presenting their solutions and outcomes to the consortium. The plenary also included work package round tables, discussions on dissemination and coordination activities, and strategic planning toward the upcoming review meeting.

Beyond the technical work, the meeting also provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration across the consortium and foster exchanges among partners in an open and collaborative environment.

To capture some of the highlights and impressions from the meeting, the consortium also released a dedicated YouTube video featuring moments from the plenary together with reflections from partners and use-case providers involved in the project.
